Black & Ink Cafe in Changi Road - Big Roy With a Big Heart

Black & Ink is opened by a fellow food blogger whom I have the privilege to know in the last few months. We know him as Eat With Roy, but Big Roy is not just big in size.

He has an enormous capacity for both his passion for coffee, and an even bigger heart in supporting social causes. And those are the main reasons he started his own cafe at Changi Road, just opposite Eunos MRT Station.

Turning Tip Top Curry Puff Into a Delicious Curry Puff Gratin, and Beef Rendang Puffs

I have always enjoyed Tip Top's curry puffs, or curry poks as we used to call them. The thing is, a singular curry puff is almost a meal in itself. And that can be quite tummy filling for me.

And curry puffs are one of those foods that adheres to the law of diminishing returns. The first bite is always great, but the last few bites will leave you feeling a bit heavy and bloated.

Yes, cafes have been the target of mainstream media for the last couple of months. It's hard to keep one going, half of opened cafes close after less than a year etc.

All this negativity in the media is not going to stop the growth of this particular sector of our F&B industry. Quite the opposite.
