Cooking Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Chef Peter Neo and PinkyPiggu at Pietro

Cooking aglio olio pasta may sound simple, and the recipe can be quite straightforward. However, to do a spectacular plate of aglio olio pasta requires a lot of practice and skill.

In a first of a series of upcoming youtube videos featuring fellow foodie and blogger, PinkyPiggu, we will show you how to do a delicious plate of spaghetti aglio olio.

Chef Peter Neo, who owns Pietro at Jalan Kelulut is no stranger to Italian food. Having worked in Italy under a number of fantastic Italian chefs, he has brought back to our shores some of the finest pasta cooking this side of Nanyang.

In this video, Peter and PinkyPiggy will go through some basic steps of how to prepare a simple aglio olio using prawns.

As you will see from the youtube film, the key to a great pasta dish is to use fresh ingredients and learning how to control the fire.

A great pasta dish will need to have the spaghetti cooked al dente, and the noodles fully immersed with the flavors of the garlic and other ingredients, and finished off with fresh extra virgin olive oil.

So, without further ado, here's the video:
