As this is silverchef's very first video recipe, I decided to return to one of my previous posts, which was the oven roasted beef short ribs with ginger capsicum cuscus dish.
I wanted to give a better idea or how some of these recipes were put together, and also, to give you some feel of the cooking process. Hopefully, this video will achieve that.
For this video recipe, I only touched on the beef short ribs, as the cuscus would ideally be a separate video in itself. It is a simple recipe with only a little actual cooking involved, so it would be suitable for those who are just learning to cook.
The cooking and filming was done all at home and my dear Pauline handled all the camera work, with some additional direction from yours truly.
I hope to do more of these in the future, but as this process does take some time and effort, please be patient and we will definitely present more of these for you.

Written, filmed, edited and directed by Silverchef Productions.
Shot and edited entirely on Apple's Iphone 4.
No beef short ribs were harmed (though they were eaten) in the shooting of this video.
"Terrified" performed by Katharine McPhee

Awesome, Ian! I've always wanted to do my own video but just dun have the time to get on with it. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, the song too! Sets me in the mood. Hahaha!
Thanks blackswan! glad u liked it .. and the song too, it's called "Terrified"
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I originally wanted to use another song called "The World I Know" by Collective Soul but was disallowed by youtube.
If you download the HD version here, you will here this version instead, and it fades out properly.
I took my time to change the song for the video than to edit the original video as I had deleted the raw footage by this time .. haha!
Thanks Kristy too! let me know if you wan me to show how to do a video sometime :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your first video! I had no idea that the short ribs were so easy to make. Thanks for sharing...
