Buffets are never my thing, until recently. Fullerton has consistently impressed me with both their regular selections as well as their guest chef stints.

Gastrobars with genuine good food is a bit of a rarity here. Then again, great food in general is also quite a challenge in this current climate of cost cutting and manpower shortage issues.

Zafferano - Finally a Risotto That Hits The High Marks
Risotto has been a bane of many restaurants and cafes in Singapore, and this is largely due to the fact that most risottos served here are pre-cooked and end up being mushy and broken riced on the plate.
I have always longed for a simple plate of risotto cooked to perfection with the right technique and cooked all the way through from start to end. I have found just that establishment.

Mooncake season is in full swing again this year, and here is a list of some of the mooncakes that you can consider for this year's Mid Autumn Festival,

Lobsters! Lobsters! Lobsters! Yeah, we all love them. Thing is, it is hard to get fresh ones here. The ones that we consume tend to be frozen and air flown from thousands of miles away.

Immanuel's first hawker eatery with all its French inspired cuisine was a big hit last year. Now, together with his ex-colleague from Guy Savoy, Alex, they have started another similar gourmet eatery in another hawker bar in Joo Chiat.
Called By The Fire, it is situated in the corner of Alibabar the Hawker Bar and serves up beautifully plated food that has a greater emphasis on charcoal grilled meats.

Andrew Turner is a well known name in the London culinary scene, and has appeared on television numerous times to talk about his food and cooking.
So it was an utter privilege to have Chef Andrew come to Singapore as part of Osia's Cooking With Friends initiative. He will be cooking with Osia's team of chefs from March 13th to 16th.
